Biography
Dr. Lynnette B. Erickson has been an educator for over thirty years and has served on the faculty of Brigham Young University in the McKay School of Education since 1996. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Teaching and Learning from Brigham Young University, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University. Prior to teaching in higher education she taught third grade in public schools in Payson, Utah and Gilbert, Arizona. Her collegiate teaching includes undergraduate and graduate courses at Arizona State University and Brigham Young University. Dr. Erickson served as associate department chair in Teacher Education for eight years and Associate Dean of the McKay School of Education at Brigham Young University where she was involved with several accreditation reviews, national and international student teaching programs, and program improvement.
