Biography
Kris Boyle, Ph.D is no stranger to BYU. An Idaho native, Dr. Boyle earned his bachelor's degree (Print Journalism, 2001) and his master's degree (Mass Communication, 2005) from this university. As an undergraduate, he spent several semesters working as a student editor for the Universe, including one as managing editor. Dr. Boyle also worked as a reporter for the Idaho Falls Post Register from 2001-2003 before deciding to pursue his graduate degrees. He earned his Ph.D. in Mass Communications from Texas Tech University in 2008 and spent six years working as an assistant professor of journalism at Creighton University before returning to BYU.
