Biography
I was born in Tempe, AZ. yet, grew up in Layton, Utah. Shortly after graduating from high school, I served a full-time mission to the Philippines Manila Mission (81-83). I am married to the former Torri Bown. We have two children, Kate (21; attending BYU) and Sam (14). I have taught at North Dakota State University ('01 to '06), Oklahoma State University ('06-'11) and now here at Brigham Young University ('11 to present).
